Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are on the verge of the Champions League semi finals ahead of their respective second leg clashes this evening.

Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool carry a 2-0 first leg lead into their quarter final meeting away to Porto.

The Reds are in a strong position coming into this one thanks to the goals scored by Naby Keita and Roberto Firmino, and an added bit of momemtum will come on the back of their 2-0 win over Chelsea at the weekend.

Kick off at the Estádio do Dragão is at eight o'clock, and Barcelona await the winners in the last four courtesy of their 3-0 win (4-0 on aggregate) against Manchester United last night.

At the same time in Manchester this evening, City take on Tottenham Hotspur at the Etihad Stadium.

Spurs take a 1-0 advantage from the first leg as a result of Son Heung-min's strike in the first leg, but they will be without the injured Harry Kane.

Whoever wins tonight will take on Ajax in the last four after the Dutch side claimed a 2-1 win (3-2 on aggregate) against Juventus.

The atmosphere at the Etihad Stadium has been criticised in recent months, but manager Pep Guardiola has sent out a challenge to his fans to create something special this evening.

"I'm really curious how are fans are going to react," he said.

"Do it for the guys - the last 20 months, they are so proud with what they have done but they are human beings."

"At this stage, without supporters, we cannot go through."
