Gardaí are investigating an attempted burglary at a McDonalds restaurant in Limerick.
A JCB was used to break in to the drive thru in Castletroy and tried to steal a safe at around 2.50am.

If one company know the pain of having their shop destroyed in recent weeks, it's Lidl.
The roof of their Fortunestown Lane supermarket in Tallaght was destroyed during Storm Emma after a digger tore into it.
