Written exams
Leaving Cert students wishing to do the written exams in November can register from this morning.
The State Examinations Commission says it can be accessed on the Calculated Grades Student Portal.
It's available on examinations.ie and at Gov.ie/leaving certificate.
Students have until 5pm on Friday to apply to sit the written exams, which will run from Monday the 16th of November to Friday the 11th of December.
Guidance Counsellor Betty McLaughlin says they will take place outside of school hours this year;
"They will be sitting the exam in the school that they had entered prior to June so therefore the students couldn't be in school" she said.
Betty McLaughlin says the exams will take place on weekdays and weekends;
"From 5:30pm to roughly 8pm on school days and then on Saturdays and Sundays they will have two sittings, one in the morning and one in the afternoon."
