The helicopter was travelling from Dublin to Wicklow.
Gardaí have launched a search after a laser was allegedly pointed at a helicopter crew.
A rescue helicopter was making a journey when the laser came their way.
It reportedly came from the North Dublin area, but officers couldn't find the source.

Today, the Irish Aviation Authority has said it's helping Gardaí with its investigation.
The IAA warned against pointing lasers at aircrafts.
They said it's a safety issue and could even become a criminal offence.
