The results of the 2018 Happiness Report have been revealed and Finland is officially the happiest country in the world.
The Nordic countries performed really well with Norway, Denmark and Iceland making up the rest of the top 4.

The UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network, who carry out the research, rank 156 countries each year on six variables: income, freedom, trust, healthy life expectancy, social support and generosity.
Ireland placed just outside the top 10 at number 14, ahead of the US (18) and the UK (19).
The report also discovered that Americans are 350% wealthier than Costa Ricans but less happy.
