The incident happened in 2016.

A Dublin woman has sued Ikea after she got lost in their store in Ballymun and suffered injuries.

The woman in question says she got lost for three hours in their warehouse in Dublin.

During her visit  - she claims she was struck by a box containing flat-pack furniture.

She said she was checking the label on a certain box and another one had struck her.

The woman suffered injuries to her head and left shoulder and visited a local hospital.

The claimant said she lost her job with tech giant Apple due to the injuries suffered.

She says her mental health deteriorated in the months that followed the incident.

The Judge in the courtroom ruled in favour of the claimant despite Ikea's challenges.

He said that there weren't enough preventative measures in place to stop incidents as such happening.

An assessment of damages will now take place in two weeks time.
