Greta Thunberg has urged people to take 'historic responsibility’ to tackle the climate crisis.

The Swedish activist made a strong speech in front of tens of thousands at Glastonbury last night.

Thunberg spoke to the crowd and urged them to fight for people and nature.

She said the world faces a 'total natural catastrophe' and urged people to take action now.

In a broadcast on the BBC, Thunberg young people have set the pace for change.

"Hope is taking action. It is stepping outside your comfort zone."

"If a bunch of school kids were able to get millions of people on the streets and start changing their lives.."

"Just imagine what we could all do together if we really tried."
