An adorable giraffe has been born in in Dublin Zoo.
The Rothschild giraffe calf was born on Tuesday February 13th, and is already over 6ft tall and around 40kg.
It's expected the calf will grow to over 6 metres in height.
The Rothschild giraffe is one of the most threatened of the nine sub-species of giraffe with fewer than 670 still in the wild.
The new born is now safe with its mum Maeve and dad Tafari in the African Savanna.
Team leader at Dublin Zoo, Helen Clarke-Bennett said “The giraffe calf is very lively and is engaging positively with the rest of the herd. Mother Maeve and her calf are healthy and Maeve is doing an amazing job of looking after the new arrival."
