Gardaí have issued an appeal after two men were killed in crashes in Dublin yesterday.

The two male pedestrians, who were aged in their 20s and 40s, died after being struck by vehicles in Tallaght and the north inner city.

They're looking for anyone who may have any camera or dash-cam footage to come forward.

The first of the fatal crashes happened at approximately 7 pm when a man in his 40s was struck by a car on Summerhill Parade.

He was taken to the Mater Hospital for his injuries but was later pronounced dead.

In a separate collision, a 23-year-old male was hit by an SUV on the N81 in Tallaght.

It happened at around a quarter past 7. The man was treated at the scene but later died.

Anyone with information can contact any Garda Station or the Garda Confidential Line.
