Easter Sunday Public Transport Update

With today being Easter Sunday, and an event marking the 102nd anniversary of the Easter Rising taking place in the city centre, there are some changes to public transport.

Here is all you need to know:

DUBLIN BUS

Dublin Bus will operate a normal Sunday service but there will be no Nitelink service.

Bus diversions will be in place in the city centre for the Easter Rising commemorations until around 15:00. 

The routes affected include, the 123, 747, 29a, 31/a/b, 32, 130, 41/b/c, 33, 14, 15, 27 and the 151.

 

LUAS

The Luas Red Line is due to run a normal Sunday service, that may changes on some services between Tallaght/Saggart and Smithfield though depending on Garda instructions for the Easter events.

The Green Line will run between Brides Glen and St Stephen’s Green and between Broombridge and Dominick from first trams until about 4.30pm to facilitate events.

There will be no service between St Stephen’s Green and Dominick during this time.

 

IRISH RAIL

Irish Rail is carrying out some major engineering work this weekend.

Northern Commuter rail services will operate to a limited schedule between Drogheda and Skerries this Easter Sunday.

It's part of track improvement works taking place between Connolly station in Dublin and Rush and Lusk today.

DARTS won't run between Howth/ Malahide and Connolly.

 

BUS EIREANN

Bus Éireann services are expected to operate a normal Sunday service.
