That's one way to deal with the rising cost of energy.

Rising fuel costs have prompted one Dublin pub to make the most of a bad situation.

Doyle's Corner in Phibsborough is asking customers to come 'chill' with them every Tuesday in October.

They say they've opted to turn the heating down slightly due to the price of fuel.

Customers are being asked to bring their coat and in turn, get 20 per cent off the food bill.

The pub is running its 'chillcount' promo for the month of October.

Co-owner Ronan Flood says they're rewarding customers who are wrapping up well:

"Doyle's Corner is a big old listed building and it's really difficult to heat.

"We're inviting our guests to 'chill' every Tuesday as we turn the heat down a little."

"We might even offer a 30 per cent discount if you bring your hot water bottle."
