Army Dealing With Suspicious Device Found In Crumlin

Suspicious device

The army bomb disposal unit is currently dealing with a suspicious device in Dublin.

It was discovered on Rafter's Avenue in Crumlin shortly after 9 o'clock this morning.

Gardaí are at the scene and the area is sealed off with road diversions in place.

In a statement gardaí say:

"Gardaí are currently at the scene of a suspect device that was discovered on Rafter’s Avenue in Crumlin shortly after 9am this morning."

"The area is sealed off and the Army EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) are now at the scene."

"Road diversions are currently in place on the Crumlin Road and Drimnagh Road."
