Detector dog Harvey assisted revenue officials yesterday to uncover illegal alcohol and cigarettes worth around €17,000.
Harvey was on paw-trol as alcohol, cigarettes, a car and cash were seized in a house near Macroom.
315 litres of alcohol in various stages of production was seized along with 4,500 cigarettes and just over 6,000 euro in cash.
Two Polish nationals, a man in his 50's and a woman in her 30's, have been questioned.
Revenue is reminding people not to consume cheap alcohol and tobacco products as they could be dangerous.
