Country Bracing Itself For Storm Barra

The country's bracing itself for the arrival of Storm Barra on Tuesday.

 

A yellow weather alert takes effect nationwide from then until Wednesday.

 

Met Éireann says it'll bring very strong winds and heavy rain across Ireland.

 

It's issued an orange wind warning for Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick and Galway from then until Wednesday morning, with winds of up to 130 kilometres per hour.

 

There's also going to be heavy rain which will bring coastal flooding on the south and west coasts.
