There are calls for people to stop using #BlackLivesMatter in Blackout Tuesday social media posts.
The reason being, the #BlackLivesMatter search is being flooded with black squares.
This means all the information about the movement is getting drowned out.
Celebrities have been using their platforms to get this message across.
Lizzo told her followers, "If you're gonna post a black square, just post a black square and say it but don't hashtag it."
