Fuel prices in Ireland are down this month.

According to the AA, all fuel prices are down by 10.5% on average.

It means people who drive diesel cars are paying 22 cent less per litre compared with last month.

Petrol drivers are paying 17 cent less a litre, and petrol is at its lowest average price since September last year.

Meanwhile, diesel is at a new low since the war in Ukraine broke out.

While the average price of petrol is now €1.60 a litre, some users on social media have reported seeing it down near €1.49!

Paddy Comyn of the AA said: "There is no firm indication on how long these prices will last, but for now, they give consumers some respite against ever-increasing prices."
