100 jobs are being created by pharmaceutical company Astrazeneca.

The firm is investing more than €300 million in a facility in Dublin.

The global pharmaceutical and biotechnology company claims the move to Ireland will help it in its zero-carbon ambitions by introducing more sustainable manufacturing processes.

The new facility will be located on the Alexion Campus in College Park, Dublin.

The Taoiseach and the Tánaiste have both welcomed the announcement this morning.
