The Department of Education has confirmed that all schools in Leinster and Munster are to close tomorrow and on Friday.
It's because the status red warning has been extended to both provinces.
Originally, the Department had left it to each individual school to decide whether it was safe to close their doors.
The news was confirmed to us by a Department spokesperson.
