Ah mammies. There's nothing better than a chinwag with your mammy over a cup of tea.
A new survey has revealed that over half of Irish adults talk to their mum every day.
According to Peter Mark, 80% of those living abroad say that the weather at home is the most popular topic of conversation when they chat.
The survey also found that Skype and WhatsApp are the most popular methods of communication when living outside of Ireland.
60% of those surveyed say that they miss having face-to-face conversations while almost two thirds of women living abroad say that they miss the comfort of having their mother nearby.
