Adele Lands 2 Hour CBS Special

Adele's show will see her perform new songs off her upcoming album and also sit down with Oprah Winfrey for a tell-all interview.

Adele One Night Only will be televised on the CBS Television Network in the United States and stream on Paramount+.

The show will be filmed in Los Angeles and broadcast on 14 November, five days ahead of her long-awaited album, 30.

It’s yet to be confirmed if the special show will air on Irish or UK television.

The concert performance will include some of her new material as well as some of her biggest hits.

Adele will also sit down with legendary interviewer Oprah, to discuss “her new album, life after divorce, weight loss and raising her son”.

Of course, the news brings back memories of her BBC special, Adele at the BBC with Graham Norton back in 2015, which coincided with the release of her third studio album, 25.

The amazing news comes after Adele released ‘Easy On Me’ last week, which has already broken records around the world.

Record Breaker

Easy On Me has been named Spotify’s most-streamed song in one day and the most first-day Alexa song requests.

Not only this, but the heart-breaking ballad also sold a whopping 70,000 copies in the first 48 hours, outperforming the entire UK Top Ten combined!

So, Adele is on course for yet another number one, both here and across the Irish sea.

Last week Adele revealed to Vogue magazine that she wrote her new album for son.

Hoping that the album would explain why she decided to divorce Angelo’s father Simon Konecki back in 2019.

Earlier today Adele also shared some candid behind-the-scenes snaps from her Easy On Me music video.
