Leanne Amaning is dumped

Last night's Love Island saw Mike choose to re-couple with Sophie over Leanne.

With no one left to couple up with, Leanne was dumped from the island.

In her exit interview, she shares her belief that Mike is playing a game.

Leanne had been coupled up with Mike since the beginning of the series.

However, she revealed this week that she's not feeling any spark between them.

And ever since, he's been trying to crack on with the other girls in the villa.

Leanne thinks Mike's decision to re-couple with Sophie was a very, 'bold move to make.'

She says she feels as if he's just disregarded the two weeks they spent together.

'I feel like sending me home was a bit of a kick in the teeth.'

The former contestant adds, 'But it might also be my karma for dumping him…'

She says they had a really good friendship before things turned romantic.

So for this reason, she had hoped he'd have more loyalty towards her.

And despite these hopes, Leanne says she wasn't at all surprised he didn't pick her.

'I was 100 per cent expecting it. I just knew I was going home.'

Leanne goes on to reveal she thinks Mike's playing a game in the villa.

'It’ll be easier for him to crack on and do his thing without me there.'

However, she doesn't think he has any chance of a romance with Sophie.

'Oh, be serious… There’s absolutely no way!'

'I think they’re just good friends and they’re in a friendship couple.'

The Love Island experience

Despite the recent events, Leanne says her Love Island experience has been, 'Unreal.'

She admits she's learned a lot of things from her time on the show including how to swim.

'I learnt how to swim! It was really fun.'

Leanne also learned a lot about herself over these past few weeks.

She says she's learned she needs to improve on her patience and she needs to work on opening up a bit more.

'It was a huge learning curve. I’ll miss that villa life.'

The Islander says the most challenging part was having to live with Mike after their breakup.

'After you break up with someone, you don’t normally live with the person…'

'The Villa is a small place when you don’t want to be around someone. It can make it awkward.'

Leanne says she's going to continue to look for love on the outside, 'I know what I want and what I need now.'

She admits that her time in the villa has made her much more open minded.

This is something Leanne is adamant she'll take with her into the real world.

The Islander says she's made some amazing friends in the villa, 'My relationship with the girls was so important.'

She opens up, 'You underestimate how important they are and they’re really special, all the relationships in there.'

Leanne says the girls were always there when she needed them and she wishes them all the best.

The former contestant reveals she wants Jess and Luke M to win the show.

Leanne says Luke was one of her closest friends in the villa and together, they're amazing.

She also says she has a lot of love for Siânnise and Luke T and Paige and Finn.

Love Island continues tomorrow at 9pm on Virgin Media One.
