Ryan announced the title in a video posted online.

The clip shows waves crashing on shore from a birds eye view.

'Two horrifying stories...one season. One by the sea...one by sand.'

As per TV Line, Ryan explained, 'It means two seasons for the fans airing in one calendar year.'

'So double the viewing pleasure. One set by the sea (this cast has already been announced).'

'A second by the sand (that cast announcement coming).'

The casting announcement for the, 'One set by the sea,' was made early last year.

At the time, Ryan shared two videos of waves crashing on a beach with the track Dead of Night playing in the background.

The names of each cast member flashed across the screen.

Macaulay Culkin, Kathy Bates, Billie Lourd, Leslie Grossman, Adina Porter, Lily Rabe, Angelica Ross and Finn Wittrock all made the list.

And possibly two of the most exciting names were Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson.

These two sat out the 9th season so fans are delighted they're back.

Three more seasons

And there's plenty more where that came from.

It was announced last year that AHS will continue for at least another three seasons.

Chairman of FX Networks and FX Productions, John Landgraf made the announcement in January.

He said, "Ryan and Brad (show creators) are the undisputed masters of horror TV, having created the anthological limited series with American Horror Story and sustaining its success for nearly a decade as FX's highest-rated series."

"We are grateful to them and Dana Walden and our studio partners for committing to another three years."
