The latest George R. R. Martin work to be given the television treatment is his novella Nightflyers.
The plot sees a crew of explorers journey on the most advanced ship in the galaxy to investigate a mysterious alien spacecraft in the hope that it holds the key to saving Earth (which is on the brink of destruction).
Naturally, things go very wrong...
The cast includes:
Gretchen Mol (Boardwalk Empire), Eoin Macken (The Night Shift), David Ajala (Fast & Furious 6), Sam Strike (EastEnders), Maya Eshet (Teen Wolf), Angus Sampson (Fargo), Jodie Turner-Smith (The Last Ship) and Brían F. O'Byrne (Million Dollar Baby).
Nightflyers is currently filiming in Troy Studios in Limerick.
