Netflix Announce The Umbrella Academy Season 2 Drops This July

The Umbrella Academy season 2

Netflix have announced The Umbrella Academy season two drops this July 31st.

The second installment will feature 10 one-hour long episodes, which we'll easily binge in one day.

Ellen Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda and Emmy Raver-Lampman will all reprise their roles.

While Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher and Justin H. Min will also return for the new season.

And Steve Blackman will continue on as showrunner and executive producer.

Season 1

On the same day in 1989, 43 infants were inexplicably born to random, unconnected women who showed no signs of pregnancy.

Seven of the children were adopted by a billionaire who created The Umbrella Academy. 

Through the academy, he trained them to save the world.

The six surviving members reunite following their father's passing. 

They must work together to solve the mystery surrounding his death.

However, the family begin to fall apart as their divergent personalities and abilities get in the way of the mission.

The plot-line for season two hasn't yet been revealed but we're still very excited.
