Love Island Are Now Accepting Applications For Its 2020 Series

Love Island 2020

The 2019 series of Love Island has come to an end and producers are gearing up for two seasons next year.

If you're looking for love then you're in luck because applications for 2020 are open.

Here's everything you need to know to apply:

The experience

ITV2 are on the look out for, 'vibrant singles in search of love!'

'The chosen cast will spend time in a luxury villa, getting to know one another...'

'But to remain in paradise they must win the hearts of the public and their fellow islanders who ultimately decide their fate on Love Island.'

Requirements

To appear on the show you must be 18 or over before the application closing date.

You must have a valid passport and any other relevant travel documentation.

Potential contestants must be available for filming over the eight week period.

Finally, it's extremely important to producers that you're willing to open up about past relationships.

The ITV website elaborates, 'such as questions about your previous dating history and preferences.'

Weekly wage

According to The Sun, cast members are subject to a weekly wage.

It's reported that last year's Love Island stars were pair £200 a week while this year's contestants got £250 a week.

They're paid this so they can cover any necessities like rent etc. back home while they're away.

Closing date

Entries must be in before the closing date which is the 30th of November 2019.

'You will not be able to apply unless you have submitted a Application Form by the Closing Date.'

'We may extend the Closing Date at our discretion without notice.'
