'Bullying' in the Love Island villa is not going down well with viewers

Looks like Love Island contestants will have to start behaving themselves.

However, when you put a group of people in the same house to compete for love you can only expect that people will turn on each other.

During their stay in the villa some of the Islanders have not seen eye to eye causing some arguments.

Earlier in the series Amy and Lucie were having problems as Amy felt Lucie never hung out with the girls.

The drama caused Lucie to become upset and made her feel like nobody in the Villa understood her.

She and Amy attempted to have it out twice resulting in the two eventually putting their differences aside.

However, as a result Amy's family reportedly received 'death threats' and released a statement on her Twitter page.

But this wasn't the only feud taking place in the villa.

Earlier this week we saw the girls turn on Danny after Yewande was dumped.

Amber was feeling upset and annoyed about Danny choosing new girl Arabella and she confronted him.

Complaints

Complaints have now been made as a result of all the drama and what has been described as 'bullying'.

According to The Sun, UK broadcast authority OFcom has received over 200 complaints from viewers.

Due to this producers met with the islanders for a 'briefing' regarding their behaviour.

A source told the publication, “There has been a lot of backbiting and bitching this series and the producers realised viewers were starting to really notice.”

In a statement, a Love Island spokesperson added: “We speak to all of the islanders to remind them of what we condone to be acceptable behaviour during their time on the show.”

If you missed last night's episode you can check out the full recap here.

Love Island returns to Virgin Media Two tonight from 9pm.
