Eddie Murphy suggests Donkey spinoff
While promoting his new film You People, Eddie Murphy was asked if he'd ever return for a fifth Shrek movie.
He said he'd absolutely love to do another film, and even suggested they make a spinoff of his character Donkey.

Eddie told Etalk, "I'd absolutely be open if they ever came with another Shrek; I'd do it in two seconds. I love Donkey."
The comedian then went on to talk about the Shrek character Puss in Boots, who recently got his own spinoff film that absolutely smashed it at the box office.
"They should have done a Donkey movie. Donkey is funnier than Puss in Boots," Eddie said.
He continued, "I mean, I love Puss in Boots, but he ain't funny as the Donkey."
"That's DreamWorks Animation. They have to want to do it. DreamWorks, if you all want to do it, just call me."
"I'm ready, I'm sitting and ready to do Donkey."
