Moving half-way across the world seems like a great idea, until you realise how much you're missing your mother's cooking. No matter how hard you try - NOTHING will compare.

Well fear not, as part of Foster’s Fridays, we've sourced three places in Australia where you can get a taste of home, and will leave your heart and belly full.

Chicken Fillet Roll

An Irish chipper called 'Mammy's Boy' opened in Melbourne in 2016, and quickly became a local for all the Irish emigrants abroad. They shot to fame when they added garlic and cheese chips to their menu. The real breadwinner was when they started selling chicken fillet rolls, that's when the Irish lost their minds.
It's located in St. Kilda's and they stock almost all of the delicious dishes that Irish chippers do, and are open from 11am daily.

Sunday Roast Dinner

The highlight of the week for some - Sunday dinner. Named one of the top places in Sydney to get a roast dinner, Olive and Dove are very popular. They won't break the bank either.

This Sunday enjoy our Lamb roast with all the finishings for $19

Chinese Takeaway
Malay Chinese Takeaway is one of the most popular in Sydney, and will cater for your curry needs. Although the spice-bag and 3 in 1 have yet to make it to Oz, you can improvise with bits on the menu and it's damn tasty.
