Irish Cancer Society's Colour Dash is back for 2018.

Returning to Dublin on June 17th the event will aim to raise money for the charity by signing people up to run, walk or jog as they are pelted with powdered paint!

One such person taking part is two-time cancer survivor Doreen Nugent.

The mum of two will participate alongside her family.

The Artane resident said, “Thankfully I got through both and got the all clear!During my treatment I got great information and support from the Cancer Nurses in the Society’s Daffodil Centre and on the Freephone Cancer Nurseline.Colour Dash is my way of raising some funds for the Irish Cancer Society to support other people affected by cancer. I took part last year with my sons, sisters, sisters-in law, nieces and friends. It's a great event and something the whole family can do together. We are really looking forward to another fun day out on June 17th!”
