Families can once again look forward to an unmissable Halloween tradition as Follow Fox Events confirms The Haunted Trail will take place exclusively at Malahide Castle and Gardens on Sunday 26 October, Monday 27 October and Friday 31 October. By focusing the full production in one of Ireland’s most atmospheric and historic locations, the event will deliver their biggest show ever!
Families can expect a one kilometre outdoor walk designed to be spooky but not scary, filled with enchanting decorations, costumed characters and interactive experiences. Aimed at younger children yet welcoming for all ages and abilities, the trail promises magical moments and memorable photo opportunities against the backdrop of Malahide’s historic gardens.
Guests are encouraged to arrive in their own costumes and prepare for surprises at every turn. From spiders spinning intricate webs to a resident witch brewing potions and a lively Pumpkin Patch, the trail is packed with detail and atmosphere. The experience concludes with the Monster Mash Party, where families can enjoy music, dancing and seasonal treats.
“This year we wanted to push The Haunted Trail further than ever before,” said Jessica Fagan, Marketing Director of Follow Fox Events. “Concentrating all our creative energy at Malahide Castle has allowed us to expand scenes, heighten the sense of theatre and give families a Halloween experience they will talk about long after the night is over.”
The Haunted Trail lasts around 60 to 75 minutes and is fully wheelchair and buggy accessible and perfectly suited to little ones who might tire easily. Families can travel with ease thanks to onsite parking and convenient public transport, and costumes are encouraged to make the adventure even more memorable.
Tickets are priced at €13.50 for adults and €17.50 for children, with infants under twelve months going free.
