Here are THE best five things to do in Dublin this weekend!

1) International Literature Festival, all over Dublin

If you're a book lover, then this is for you. "The International Literature Festival Dublin is Ireland’s premier literary event and gathers the finest writers in the world to debate, provoke, delight and enthral. Described by the press as ‘boasting a stunning array of top international literary talent’ and ‘the country’s most successful and easily the best annual literary event’, International Literature Festival Dublin line-up is sure to impress." 2) Family Day in Smithfield, Saturday

Minding your little uns? Need bits and bobs for them to do? Bring them along to this free event - they'll be kept entertained for hours. A jam-packed programme of fun includes magician Brian Daly with his blend of tricks and comedy, workshops with Brown Bag Films, Ireland’s Biggest Family Tree, games, storytelling, face painting and lots more. Enjoy performances by the Dublin Circus Project and more surprises yet to be announced. This is an un-ticketed, free event. More info: http://www.familyday.ie/

3) Dublin Flea Market, Sunday @ Newmarket Square

90% of the bits in my gaff were bought at this market. It's the best flea going, and is full of treasure. It's only on once a month, so get going - the weather will be gorge too. More  info: https://www.facebook.com/DublinFleaMarket/

4) Real Bodies @ The Ambassador

I've always wanted to go to this, but never got the chance to. If you're in any way into biology/ how the body works, this is for you. The exhibition showcases actual real human bodies in various positions and postures so you can see how the body works under the skin. It's v fascinating. 5) House, this weekend @ RDS

If, like me, you're mad for interiors and making your house gorge, then get down to this for inspo & shopping. "Meet the practitioners and be educated and inspired by the array of well-known industry leaders and innovators including Jo Hamilton, one of the UK’s leading interior designers, Dermot Bannon, the leading voice in Irish architectural design and Roisin Lafferty, founder and managing director of Kingston Lafferty Design, one of Ireland’s foremost interior architecture and design houses, who will all take part in a series of talks on the house 2017 Inspiration Stage."
