Tickets for one of the biggest festivals of the year Longitude 2018, go on sale tomorrow morning.
It looks like it will be a complete sell-out. There's huge names like Solange, Post Malone, Travis Scott, Cardi B and Diplo performing across the three days.

Tickets will be available from Ticketmaster outlets and Ticketmaster.ie from 9am on Friday 16th February.

Get an account. Having a Ticketmaster account is half the battle. You can set one up here. Make sure all of your details are correct. You can set one up here.

Add your billing details. Add your card details to your account in advance. This will save you fumbling with your card when you go to purchase your tickets. Ticketmaster take both debit and credit cards.

Use a secure connection. If possible, log in at home so that you have a reliable WiFi connection. Office and public WiFi will have high demand which may slow down your connection and the purchasing process.

Only use one browser/tab. Don't open multiple browsers or tabs. Doing so may cause the Ticketmaster system to think you're a robot, which will kick you out of the queue and you will be unable to buy tickets, and you don't want that.

Know your verified by Visa/Mastercard password. Know it inside out and back to front and never forget it. This step catches people out all the time and you could get kicked out of the queue if you don't remember it!

Team up. Grab the people that are also heading along and work together.

Remain calm. It's a stressful situation but panicking could cause you to hit a wrong button/refresh at the wrong moment/throw your laptop out the window.

Don't refresh the page. While you might think the page isn’t working, it is. You will be placed in a queue and will get access to tickets in a fair manner as quickly as possible. Just follow the instructions on screen. Refreshing a page will lose you your place in the queue.
