Singing in the rain summed up yesterday. If you’re mourning the madness that was Monday at Bulmers Forbidden Fruit, we’re with you, check out our highlights video.

Bingo Loco is exactly that. MC Marcus O’Laoire made it rain coco pop while the crowd got blasted by smoke and fed cans from the stage in between calling out the numbers. It’s fair to say it’s a tad more ludicrous than the bingo your nan does in Whitehall. This was seriously fun. With belter after belter blaring out these guys had us steamed dry from dancing as we hid from the drizzle!

Generally the final day of a festival is nothing but chilled out vibes, Rusangano Family were having NONE of that! The crowd was jumping as one at the Bulmers Live Stage as we hollered their lyrics back at them. They enjoyed the energy we gave them so much that they joined us mid performance, not missing a beat when they kept rapping in the crowd. Our day was made when they continued up to the balcony for a  dance which is still on our insta story, @officialspin1038, if you get there quick.Witnessing Rusangano Family’s energetic performance on such an intimate stage won’t soon be forgotten.

A rarely spotted band arrived on the Original Stage to see out the end of the festival. Bon Iver’s melodies caused goosebumps in what was one of their only three performances in Europe this summer. Lucky us. Their new album is more upbeat than their old material and made the crowd move. In classic Irish fashion, a bit of rain shut everything down leading to a ten minute pause in their performance to swap out gear that got rained on. The break didn’t deter the crowd. We waited and were rewarded with three more songs including their beautiful best known anthem “Skinny Love”.

Until next year Bulmers Forbidden Fruit, you beauty!
