The Original Movie

The original film was released in November 2003 and starred Will Ferrell as Buddy the elf.

James Caan played the role of Buddy's father Walter and Zooey Deschanel as his girlfriend.

The feature did incredibly well and hasn't been a classic Christmas film ever since.

Will Ferrell even talked about its success in an interview with James Corden.

In the interview, he admits he was worried that the film might make or break him.

"You know the first two weeks of shooting we kind of all the exteriors of new York..."

"Running around New York City in yellow tights, people recognising me from Saturday Night Live going are you alright?"

"This is either gonna be a home run or people are gonna go whatever happened to you?"

"Why did you do that one about the elf... it was obviously just one of those where the stars aligned."

Tickets go on sale this Thursday the 11th of April at 9am from Ticketmaster.
