#YouthEmpowered, an initiative of Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company (HBC), launched this week urging young people across Ireland to register for free life and business skills training courses online at www.youthempowered.ie

Now in its second year, the #YouthEmpowered programme seeks to support those aged 18-30 who are not in education, employment or training with the skills and confidence to aim high and make their goals a reality.

In addition to the delivery of 30 workshops across the country the program has created a Digital Hub - offering free online training to all recent school-leavers and job seekers.

#YouthEmpowered offers young people the fundamental life and business skills need to supporttheir transition into meaningful employment, while helping them build-lasting professional and peer networks.

Shelly O’Neill explains her role as Youth Coach in the below video

Coca-Cola HBC believes passionately in the potential of all young people as future leaders and community change-makers. They see no boundaries and can achieve things that no-one else thought possible.

One in ten young people across Ireland are currently unemployed.

Over 40 employees of CCHBC have become Youth Coaches for #YouthEmpowered 2018, playing an active role in the workshop-based learning by sharing their personal experiences about their path to employment, sharing career experience, business know-how and providing advice and support to participants.

If you’re a young person, aged between 18-30 interested in the program, apply to register for free here.
