There's lots of events happening in Dublin that'll be sure to put you in the festive spirit.

Wonderlights

Wonderlights at Malahide Castle honestly looks magical!

This year’s ‘The Night Sky’ sensory lightshow is bursting with breathtaking visuals of icy Arctic Forests, astonishing Northern Lights, and mesmerizing Meteor Showers.

There's also a fabulous Winter Village with everything from Griolladh's mouth-watering grilled cheese sambos to something sweet from Sprinkles Desserts or The Rolling Donut.

They're also offering 15% off visits post-Christmas with the code 'POSTXMAS'.

2. Christmas At The Castle

Expect a range of food and drink providers, evening music performances and the very best of Irish design and craftsmanship for sale.

While this free ticketed event is completely booked out online, you could still be admitted at the door if there are no shows.

However, it's all at the discretion of security who will be monitoring numbers.

3. Ice Skating

Nothing says Christmas like a trip to an ice skating rink!

You could try Dundrum on Ice, which you can find out more about here.

4. Stella Cinema

Why not treat yourself and a loved one to a night out at the Stella Cinema.

They're screening a number of Christmas classics including Elf, Home Alone and Love Actually.

5. The Gaiety Theatre

6. A Visit To The Ginger Man

The Ginger Man has everyone talking with their incredible Christmas decorations.

7. Christmas at the Guinness Storehouse

The Guinness Storehouse is a great trip at the best of times, but at Christmas it's absolutely magical.

This year, they've added a collaboration by New York-based Irish visual artist GRIF which celebrates coming home for Christmas.
