James Kavanagh has rounded up the 5 BEST things to do in Dublin this weekend!

1) Notorious The Movie, cinemas nationwide

So Conor's movie is finally out. If you're a fan, it's one to watch to get to grips with how he created himself. If you're not a fan, it's still a fascinating story of creating an empire from very little. You'll see my brother popping up now and again! Watch the trailer:

2) Miss Saigon @ Bord Gais Energy Theatre until Nov 18th

"Cameron Mackintosh’s acclaimed new production of Boublil and Schönberg’s legendary musical MISS SAIGON — a recent smash hit in the West End — comes to Bord Gáis Energy Theatre as part of a major UK and Ireland Tour. Winner of a record-breaking nine Whatsonstage Awards 2015 including Best Show, this epic love story tells the tragic tale of young bar girl Kim, orphaned by war, who falls in love with an American GI called Chris — but their lives are torn apart by the fall of Saigon." 3) Postcards from The Ledge @ The Gaiety until Nov 11th

"The year is 2029 and Ireland is in the midst of an economic boom. Ross O’Carroll-Kelly is about to turn 50 – and life could not be better for him. His wife, Sorcha, is the Taoiseach. His triplet boys are the backbone of the Castlerock College Junior Cup team. And he still does alright with the ladies. As the Managing Director of Hook, Lyon and Sinker estate agents, he spends most of the day with his feet up. But when a client rings and asks someone to put a valuation on 22 Glenageary Glen, a semi-detached house in Sallynoggin, Ross decides to do the job himself. The reason is that he recognizes the address as his childhood home. As he stands in the doorway of the run-down, council-built house, the sediment of old memories is stirred up. And he takes us on a journey of remembrance, through happy times and sad times, laughter and tears, until he realizes that the job of putting a price on the house – and its treasure of memories – is impossible. Because it’s priceless." Tickets: http://www.gaietytheatre.ie/index.php/whats-on-buy-tickets/calendar/ross-o-carroll-kelly-postcards-from-the-ledge-/691

4) Nutgrove Arts Festival, Saturday @ Nutgrove Shopping Centre

"Nutgrove Arts Festival is an annual celebration of community arts and culture, taking place in the unique setting of Nutgrove Shopping Centre in South County Dublin. Now in its seventh year, the festival has become an integral part of the local area’s cultural calendar, welcoming a selection of exciting performers, musicians and dancers to take over the centre for ten days each year. The festival works as an informal and exciting medium to experience creativity in all its forms. With a variety of music and art workshops there will be plenty to inspire creativity in the local community for all ages." 5) The Bottle Tower, Churchtown

This (you could say iconic) pub has gone through a major facelift! When I was growing up in Churchtown in the 90s, it was called 'the flying stool' because some of the rougher locals would get into fights and throw stools at each-other. Now, it's v chic and serves cocktails and gorge food. Head on down if you're in the area! More info: http://thebottletower.ie/
