It looks like The X Factor: Celebrity contestant Wes Nelson isn't a big fan of his group's name.

He's teamed up with his former Love Island co-stars Samira, Zara and Eyal to form The Islanders.

'I'm not saying The Islanders. I'll look like a f***ing idiot.'

The group talk about their upcoming appearance in an interview with Heatworld this week.

When asked about the group name, Wes admits, 'It's a touchy subject.'

The former Dancing On Ice runner up exclaims, 'I'm not saying The Islanders. I'll look like a f***ing idiot."

Eyal adds, 'We're still undecided. It's The Islanders for now.'

Eyal also claims Wes is the 'diva' of the group. He says his band-mate is 'always late.'

Wes hits back, 'I'm not a diva! I still don't consider myself a celebrity, I hate saying that word.'

'We just want to be known for something other than dating.'

In the same interview he throws shade in the direction of his ex girlfriend Megan Barton Hanson.

He manages to do this while discussing his current relationship with Arabella Chi.
