A young boy receives a message from Tony Hawk
A FedEx delivery driver named Mikail helped a young boy named Cooper deliver a message to Tony Hawk through TikTok.
It's after Cooper flagged down his delivery van and asked him if he could post his skateboard to the pro-skater.
Describing his interaction with the boy, Mikail told his TikTok followers, "He goes, ‘Hey sir, do you know the pro skater Tony Hawk?'"
"I was like, ‘Yeah, I know who he is,’ and he goes, ‘Can you mail this (skateboard) to him…?'"
"I just thought it was adorable. His mum comes outside and kinda winks and was like, ‘Yeah, make sure you get it to Tony Hawk!'"
Mikail decided to use his social media platform to get the message to Tony Hawk.
He told his followers, "Obviously I can’t mail it to Tony Hawk, I don’t know Tony Hawk’s address."
"But the least I could do is put it out there in the universe, so Tony, if you see this, Cooper in Suwanee, Georgia is a big fan."

Tony Hawk responds
When the pro-skater saw Mikail's appeal, he took to TikTok with a video message for Cooper.
He said, "Hey Cooper, what’s up? It’s Tony Hawk and I just wanna say thank you so much for the skateboard."

Tony went on, "As a thank you gift, I’m gonna send you my skateboard, this one right here that I’m riding."
He added, "Thanks buddy, I hope to meet you sometime."

Cooper receives his skateboard
Mikail shared a video of Cooper with his new skateboard on TikTok.
He said, "I'm so happy that we were able to use social media in a positive way, connecting with one another, working together to make somebody's day. 'Cause that's what it's all about."
