A retired cop who led the investigation into the murder of rappers Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G is coming to Dublin.

Former LAPD detective Greg Kading will be part of a show at Vicar Street in Dublin on Thursday, October 11th.

The show is called 'Solved: The Tupac and Biggie Murders' and will see Greg answer questions about all elements of the case, as well as taking part in an audience Q and A.

Tupac and Biggie Smalls were killed in 1996 and 1997 respectively.

In 1997, Detective Russell Poole started digging into the murders, uncovering a ring of corruption that plagued the LAPD.

Detective Kading re-opened Poole’s cold case in 2007 with the help of a task force to find the truth.

His investigation ultimately confirmed that the murders of the two rappers were linked.

He also wrote a book on the case, which was used as the basis for the Netflix series 'Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G.'

The event will be hosted by founder and editor of District Magazine, Eric Davidson, with tickets going on sale on Monday, the 27th of August.
