Patrick Dempsey shares his love for Ireland
McDreamy, aka Patrick Dempsey, spent his summer filming the Enchanted sequel in Ireland.

Ellen asked, "What was Ireland like? I’ve never been, I’m dying to go."
Her former on-screen husband replied, "Oh, I fell in love with the place."
"I was everywhere, any chance I got. I ended up staying in the north of Ireland, which was fascinating, I learned a lot up there."

The Derek Shepherd actor added, "And then I was in nature, so it was the Spring of the year, and you have all the lambs, cows, and the calves and everything."
"It’s everything you would imagine it to be."
"The people are great," he added.

Lockdown
Patrick admitted the only disappointing part of the trip was that everything was closed amid the pandemic.
The actor explained, "So you couldn’t go to the pubs, you couldn’t go to the restaurants, everything was locked down."
"So I didn’t get a chance to see that," he added.

But he still had an amazing time! He said there's, "great hiking," spots and the country has, "great culture."
"Rainy, miserable weather, and then it gets hot."
"It gets in the 80s and people meltdown completely they can’t handle it. But I loved it."
