Nicki Minaj has responded to Lil Nas X on Twitter.
It's after he admitted to hiding his love for her music over fears people would think he's gay.

It all kicked off when the 21-year-old tweeted Nicki earlier this week, asking her if she'd like to collaborate on a song with him.
This prompted a Twitter user to ask why he never previously admitted he was a Barb - the name for Nicki Minaj's fanbase.
Nas simply replied, 'i didn’t want people to know i was gay tbh.'

It's been widely speculated that Lil Nas X was the owner of a Nicki Minaj fan account under the name @nasmaraj.
The rapper seemed to confirm this in his response to a Twitter user who argued that being a fan of Nicki Minaj doesn't make you gay.
Nas said, 'it don’t but people will assume if you had an entire fan page dedicated to nicki u are gay.'

In her response, Nicki admitted, 'It was a bit of a sting when you denied being a barb, but I understand.'
She finished, 'Congratulations on building up your confidence to speak your truth.'
