Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino has been sentenced to eight months in prison for tax evasion.
The Jersey Shore star was also given a fine of 10,000 dollars and must complete 500 hours of community service.
Before he begins the eight-month sentence, Mike plans on marrying his fiancée Lauren Pesce in early November.
Mike's lawyer says they were disappointed with the result, as they had asked for probation and see prison time as a harsh outcome.
MTV cameras were rolling outside the court room while his co-stars joined him at the sentencing.
The 36-year-old took to Instagram to say he's happy to put the whole thing behind him now and thanked his fans for their continued love and support.
