Hailey Bieber speaks out about viral TikTok video

Hailey Bieber was devastated when a TikTok user labeled her a rude celebrity in a viral video on the app.

Julia Carolan worked as a restaurant hostess in Manhattan, and met Hailey a handful of times.

Each time, she claimed the model was, "not nice."

Julia rated their encounter 3.5/10, shortly after giving Gigi and Bella Hadid a 10/10.

She said, "I really wanna like her but I have to give her like a 3.5 out of 10."

It wasn't long before Hailey saw the video, and apologised in the comments.

She wrote, 'Just came across this video, and wanted to say so sorry if I’ve ever given you bad vibes or a bad attitude.'

Hailey added, 'That’s not ever my intention!'

Now, almost a year on, the model has confessed the video really, "upset her."

She made the admission on her YouTube channel during a chat with Dr. Jessica Clemons.

"When I saw her video I was so upset," Hailey revealed.

"There's never an excuse for being rude."

The 24-year-old continued, "I felt bad that that was her experience with me."

"You never know what someone's going through."

"I remember going through times in my life where I was so sad, and so heartbroken that like engaging with people felt hard for me."

"I don't ever remember meeting her but I thought about it and I regretted that and I wish that that wasn't her experience with me."

"I wish I didn't act that way towards her," Hailey added.

"I'm a human and I made a mistake and I acted a way that was out of character for me."

She continued, "I acted a way that I don't want to be. I'm trying to do better every single day."

"I want to continue to grow as a person. I'm open to people correcting me."

Hailey added that she doesn't think the people correcting her, "need to be people on social media."

In February, Hailey spoke about how she copes with online negativity and hate.
