According to The Sun, Ed Sheeran has co-written Westlife's comeback single.

The news comes after it was announced that the band would be reuniting after six years of seperation.

Brian McFadden, however, will not be taking part in the reunion.

A source has since revealed to The Sun that Ed Sheeran has co-written their upcoming single.

''It took quite some time to pull together and has been done totally behind closed doors, but he has finally given them the right record to make it happen.

''They’re just pulling together the final promo details including a video before they unveil it. It’s going to be huge.”

Sheeran has written songs for One Direction, Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Anne-Marie and more.
