Cardi B splits from Offset

WAP star Cardi B has reportedly filed for divorce from her rapper husband Offset.

In court documents obtained by TMZ, she makes it clear, 'there are no prospects for a reconciliation.'

The publication report she filed the paperwork on Tuesday.

According to the documents, Cardi is looking for primary and legal custody of their 2-year-old Kulture.

It's also understood she wants him to pay child support.

Cardi is also asking that Offset pay her legal expenses.

And she's requesting, 'an equitable division of all marital assets,' meaning it doesn't sound like they have a prenup.

However, it all broke down the following year when he was accused of cheating on her.

This sent Cardi over the edge and she announced their split on Instagram.

He was heartbroken, so he did everything he could to win her back.

He even surprised her onstage with an array of flowers spelling out, 'Take Me Back Cardi.'

And he publicly apologised on Instagram and captioned the video, 'FORGIVEME.'

It took a while, but his efforts didn't go unnoticed, and Cardi accepted his apology.

Cardi opens up

Last December she opened up to Vogue about the whole situation.

She said, 'When me and my husband got into our issues - you know, he cheated and everything...'

'And I decided to stay with him and work together with him, a lot of people were so mad at me; a lot of women felt disappointed in me.'

Cardi said there were a lot of people sharing their opinion of her relationship online and it really upset her.

'It's real-life s**t. If you love somebody and you stop being with them, and you're depressed and social media is telling you not to talk to that person because he cheated, you're not really happy on the inside until you have the conversation.'
