Fanta's Sandstorm returns to Dollymount Strand on June 10th, for what promises to be a fun day out with a full run of challenging obstacles.

On the day, there's places where you can get a good feed either before or after the race, near Dollymount Strand. After a 5k run, you'll be absolutely starving, so, here's a little list of some places in the area that may take your fancy.

Bay Restaurant

Situated in Clontarf, it has been voted and awarded one of the hottest restaurants for brunch in Dublin for over a decade.

They also offer a takeaway service. If the weather is particularly nice you can take it away and eat it in a sunny location. Check out the menu HERE

Fishbone Clontarf

This is the sister restaurant of Bay, and has its doors open for less than a year. They offer a wide range of Irish seafood. They're situated opposite the iconic wooden bridge in Clontarf, offering a seaside view with brunch from 11am-4pm on the weekends. Check out their offerings HERE

The Yacht Bar

This is an award winning restaurant and pub, with gorgeous interior, a menu that offers a wide range and great seafood. It's situated on the Clontarf Road, with a beer garden out the back for afterwards. Check it out HERE

The Pigeon House

You're guaranteed to get a good feed here. We've heard from many that the dessert menu is the main event. You deserve to treat yourself after the 5k. Check out their brunch, lunch and dinner offerings HERE

Moloughneys Clontarf

This is just two doors down from the above Pigeon House and is situated on the Vernon Road. Again, there's a deadly menu here with a wide offering of seafood, too. Dribble over there lunch menu HERE
