It's finally here and we can't wait to be dancing around Marlay Park at Longitude 2018.

Twenty years ago, Desperados remixed the rules by daring to brew tequila with beer, and this summer, the refreshing beer has stepped it up a notch for its Longitude residence. Desperados and Spin 1038’s House Party teamed up to give a once in a lifetime opportunity to a budding DJ; to play an opening set on the Desperados Sound Stage at this year’s festival.

Who's playing?

With music at the heart of the Desperados Sound Stage, they've handpicked a special group of local club night heroes to take to the decks across the weekend, including the winner of the SPIN 1038 Desperados DJ competition Jen Payne.

Four finalists were shortlisted and then it was left up to you to vote for the one lucky DJ. Over 3,000 votes were submitted and you made it very clear who you wanted on the Desperados Sound Stage

Listen to Jen's winning mix below!

It's one thing hearing the winning mix online, it's another hearing it on the radio, but we know you want to hear it live in person! So when is Jen performing? Checkout the full line up of the Desperados Sound Stage below.

Whats new?

This year, Desperados have added some fantastic new surprises to bring the party to another level.

Including, at climactic moments, when the DJ hits the 'sound button' they will rev the crowd, and these festival revellers will be in for some surprises.

There will also be coloured smoke released on the dance floor to further ignite the party.
