Former Love Island contestant Olivia Buckland has come under fire, for failing to show that one of her latest Instagram posts was an advert.

The post showed Olivia talking about an eye shadow from cosmetic brand W7, along with the caption "Can't wait to see what you guys create #BucksBeauty."

Olivia is a brand ambassador for the brand Warpaint Cosmetics, which identifies as W7. The Advertising Standards Authority has banned the post, for not clearly indicating that it was an advertisement.

A joint statement was released by Warpaint Cosmetics and Olivia Buckland, which confirmed that she was an ambassador and that was outlined in her Instagram bio.

The brand insisted that Olivia was specifically paid to post on social media and that the post was done in a "blog style."

Olivia has been told that future advertisements must be "obviously identifiable."

Olivia recently married Alex Bowen, who she met and coupled up with on Love Island 2016.
