Fergie has teared up talking about her split from Josh Duhamel.
They separated after more than 13 years together earlier this year, saying in a statement it was with "absolute love and respect" and that they will "always be united in our support of each other and our family".
In a clip released from her upcoming interview with Wendy Williams, she reveals that she thought the couple would be "together forever".
Talking about their son Axel, she said "we forever have that project together and we're doing the best we can".
The full interview is due to air tomorrow night in the US.
